The deal,
in plain terms.

FortifyMe is a wellness companion app — a tool, not a therapist. These are the basic rules for using it.

What FortifyMe is

A lifestyle app for adults working on habits, identity, and personal growth. It offers check-ins, journaling, identity tools, coping exercises, peer community, and accountability features. It is not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, or crisis intervention. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 (US) or your local emergency number.

Your account

Your content

What you write in FortifyMe — check-ins, journal entries, posts, messages — is yours. You keep the rights to it.

By posting in community or to a partner, you give us a narrow license to store, display, and moderate that content so the feature works. That license ends when you delete the content or your account.

The community

If you use community or partner features, the Community Guidelines apply. The short version: be kind, no harassment, no medical advice, no promotion. Reports get reviewed; appeals are allowed once per decision.

FortifyMe Pro

Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks walking-partner matching and the full Resilience Score / weekly insights. Billing is handled by Apple or Google through your App Store / Play account. See Subscription terms for details on pricing, renewal, and cancellation.

What you can't do

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules. We try to be fair and to explain why.

Availability and changes

FortifyMe is provided as-is. We aim for high availability but we don't guarantee zero downtime, and features may evolve. If we change the app in a way that materially affects you (e.g. removing a feature you rely on, raising prices), we'll notify you in-app before it takes effect.

Liability

FortifyMe is a tool for self-reflection. We aren't responsible for decisions you make based on what the app shows you, and we aren't a substitute for professional help. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to FortifyMe is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, for free users, is zero).

Ending the relationship

You can delete your account any time (Settings → Delete account, or see Delete account). We can close accounts that violate these terms or the Community Guidelines, or that we have a legal obligation to remove. Either way, you keep the right to download your data before deletion (Settings → Data → Download my data).

Disputes

If something goes wrong, please reach out first — hello@fortifyme.app. We'd rather work it out directly than escalate.
